RHMS will show its support of The National Red Ribbon Campaign by participating in Red Ribbon Week Monday, October 28th through Friday, November 1st.
The daily themes and activities are as follows:
Monday, October 28th
Theme: Rally in Red Against Drugs
Activities: Students and staff members will wear red, red and more red. Wear red from head to toe!
Tuesday, October 29th
Theme: “Paws”-itively Drug Free
Activity: Students and staff members will sign paw prints and attach them to their classroom doors pledging to be drug free. Students and staff are also encouraged to dress up as their favorite animal. Let your paws do the talking!
Wednesday, October 30th
Theme: Join the Fight Against Drugs
Activity: Student and staff members are encouraged to wear camouflage to join in the fight against drugs.
Thursday, October 31st
Theme: Hocus Pocus Stay Focused
Activity: Students and staff members are encouraged to dress to cast a spell on drugs.
Friday, November 1st
Theme: Make All Your Dreams Come True – Stay Drug Free
Activity: Students and faculty are encouraged to dress as their favorite Disney character. Participants in Disney Dress-up MUST pay $1. All proceeds go to the RHMS Drama Club.
Students will also participate in the annual Tug-of-War Competition during Connections classes.
