Mr. Moore's 8th Grade automation/robotics students recently took a field trip to Hunter Army Airfield. Students observed real world applications of some of the mechanical gear trains that are discussed in class. The helicopter in the photo is a Chinook, the fastest and most powerful of the Army helicopters.
