Last week, 8th grade STEM classes presented their breakthrough challenges to community partners. Students were challenged to invent a new way for middle and high school students to learn chemistry science standards through the use of a model, a demonstration, and or an experiment.
\r\nStudents presented their project to reporters Mariah Congedo and Amanda Aguilar from the local news outlet WTOC and chemistry experts Molly Matthews and Terry McCormick.
\r\nThe winning team, ZyTeah Doe and Samantha Morrow, conducted an experiment utilizing the "black snake" to demonstrate physical and chemical properties.
\r\nCongratulations to our winners and all participants in the project! #rhmsstemcats #WeAreRHMS
