We were so impressed by all the great projects displayed at STEM Night 2018! Great job students!





Students in Mr. Robertson's 7th Grade Science classes are doing a research project on Genetic Disorders. Students picked an inherited genetic disorder then researched causes, history of the disorder, symptoms, treatments, and prognosis. They created a good slide show and presented their findings to the class.

Administration is treating teachers and staff to Five Days of Christmas this week. Today, teachers are enjoying Chick-fil-A biscuits for breakfast. Thank you to Chick-fil-A in Hinesville for all your support! Happy Holidays!!

PTSO is looking for a few energetic people to serve on the PTSO board for the 2018 2019 School Year. Email Ms. Knight at cknight@bryan.k12.ga.us if you are interested!

RHMS will be sponsoring the children at Memorial Hospital by collecting gently used toys to be used in the playrooms and during chemotherapy treatments. New toys are given as Christmas gifts, birthday gifts and for end of chemo parties. You may also donate money for us to purchase gifts. See Mrs. Crippen with any questions.

The next PBIS rewards day is Thursday, 12/20/18 with exciting activities to choose from: There will be a movie hall that will be featuring 3 different Christmas movies, a technology room, a game room, and a quiet room. Cut off to register for the rewards day is 12/14/18!

Student Council will be selling Candy Grams for $2 in the atrium from December 10th to December 14th. Order for friends, teachers, or even yourself!

Members of the RHMS Beta club participated in the annual State Beta Club Convention and received many awards. RHMS also received the Junior Beta Service Award, ranking 3 out of 155 schools! #WeAreRHMS





Our RHMS wrestling team dominated South Effingham Middle in a region match on Thursday in Guyton, winning 81-15. The Wildcats won 14 of 17 weight classes, 12 by pinfall and six in the first period, moving to 3-0 for the season and 37-0 since beginning the program.#WeAreRHMS


Ms. Youman's 8th Grade Science classes used hot (red) and cold (blue) water to demonstrate the transfer of heat through convection.

Congratulations to Aubrey Rouse, Emily Parsons, and Mallory Stallings for receiving 2nd Place in the Richmond Hill Gingerbread House Competition on 11/30/18. Students can see their work on display at the CTA event on Tuesday night. After the art show, the work will be on display at RH city hall! Congrats girls!
