RHMS will host a Social Studies Showcase on Tuesday, March 14th from 6:00 - 7:00. All grades will be showcasing projects and information from their Social Studies classes. Chorus and Drama club will perform a song and skits related to the social studies curriculum. Come out and join us for this informative evening.

Students we are still looking for projects for the Innovation Expo. If you have a digital project that you have created and would like to enter it in the Expo, please stop by the media center to pick up the guidelines.

Attention 8th Grade Students: Interested in trying out for Competition Cheer at RHHS? There is a mandatory tryout/information meeting on Tuesday, March 7th at 6:00pm in the East cafeteria of the High School. Attendance is mandatory- either parent or student. Tryout packets will be given at the meeting. All tryout packets and updated physicals will be due by Tuesday, March 14th. Tryout dates are March 20th-23rd in the West Gym @ RHHS.

Rising 7th and rising 8th grade students received a registration form today. The forms should be completed this weekend and turned in to their homeroom teacher no later than Wednesday, March 1st.

Two RHMS Science Olympiad teams finished in the top 5 teams at GSU. The 6th grade Black Team was awarded 5th place overall. The 7th and 8th grade Gold Team placed 1st in the region. Congratulations students and teachers!

Richmond Hill Middle School students showed their best sports rivalries in a friendly way when they celebrated Jersey Day. They wore the jerseys, t-shirts, and uniforms of their favorite sports teams and players to honor on field sportsmanship and competition. #WeAreRHMS

Students - it’s not too late to create a technology project for the Innovation Expo. This expo highlights your technology skills and knowledge. The Innovation Expo will be held March 16 at McAllister Elementary from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, but at RHMS we are getting things started a little EARLY! Friday, February 10th, RHMS will host its annual Valentine's Day Social from 4:15 - 6:00pm. Students MUST have a ride home at 6:00pm. DJ DC will be playing your favorite music. Admission is $5. Concessions will be sold. See you there!!

The Winter Athletic Banquet will be Tuesday, February 7th at 6:00 p.m. in the RHMS Cafeteria. Each athlete is being asked to provide the following: 6th grade - Dessert 7th grade - Side Dish 8th grade - Entree Please RSVP with your coach if you will be in attendance, and the total number of people that will be accompanying you.
