PTSO and RHMS Volunteer Training/Registration will be held on Monday, September 11, at 6:00 pm in the school media center. If you are planning to volunteer in our school in any capacity, you must complete the volunteer training and registration at one of the Bryan County schools.

8th graders competed in a Crane Building competition during ELT. Groups designed and constructed a crane that would lift the greatest mass. The winning crane lifted 2000 grams. #WeAreRHMS

Students studied the engineering process and aerodynamics during Extended Learning Time. Groups were required to use the engineering process to create the best paper airplane design, then test out their designs! #WeAreRHMS

Mrs. Catherine Warren was recently awarded the "Outstanding Earth Science Teacher" award given by the National Association of Geoscience Teachers. The award is given for "exceptional contributions to the stimulation of interest in the Earth Sciences at the pre-college level." Congratulations Ms. Warren. We are proud of you! #WeAreRHMS


Our 8th grade Georgia History teachers planned engaging stations for the students to learn about the 5 regions of Georgia! #WeAreRHMS




The 7th grade advanced content pod worked on The Marshmallow Challenge as a STEM team building activity. The students competed to build the tallest tower created out of spaghetti noodles, tape, string, and a marshmallow. There was an eighteen minute time limit as well.
