This past Saturday, students from the RHMS orchestra attended the String-in! event at Georgia Southern Univ. They participated in string playing workshops, learned about college music programs, rehearsed music with Georgia Southern string faculty, and performed in a concert conducted by Dr. Steven Elisha of GSU and Mr. Page.

February 6th: Bryan County Schools will observe regular dismissal times; however, all after school activities including athletic contests and practices are cancelled for this afternoon. ASP will be closing at 5:00pm.

February 5th was World Read Aloud Day, and Ms. Bryce's classes were treated to several guest readers! Ms. Knight, Ms. Bragg, and Mr. Soash came in to read aloud to students. #WildcatsRead #WildcatsWin

Some 8th Grade students are building moons for an 8th Grade STEM ELT project. Once all of the materials are made, students will build rockets and use these moons as their target. February is Black History Month! RHMS celebrates Black History Month as a time to recognize the achievements and central roles of African Americans in U.S. History.

The Valentine's Day Social is Friday, February 14th from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 in advance through My Payments Plus or $7.00 at the door. There will be music! Concessions will be sold! You must have a ride home at 5:00 p.m.
