Ms. Hurst's 6th grade science classes are using a google slides activity to study the Earth's rotation and revolutions. Students created their own Google Slide review guides from a template, then answered questions, categorized statements, and participated in review games. #WeAreRHMS




The RHMS Drama Club presents "The Pirates of Penzance" on Friday, May 4th at 6:30pm. Admission is $5. Join us for a great evening! #WeAreRHMS

Students in Mrs. Padgett’s 7th Grade Life Science Class participated in a Natural Selection Bird Beak lab to identify environmental factors affecting the success of individuals within a population and to follow the success or failure of different phenotypes according to collected data. #WeAreRHMS





Ms. Warren's 6th Grade Classes are completing Missions via a GooseChase Online Scavenger hunt to determine why the desert is so dry. They are studying ocean currents, elevation, and climate maps to collaborate with classmates, answer higher level questions, and submit evidence of their reasoning.

RHMS had Social Studies Night last night and enjoyed showcasing wonderful projects. #WeAreRHMS

Teachers participated in a @GooseChase tech PD today, and created some engaging lessons for their content areas. Students will collaborate as they complete missions, then submit text, photo evidence, and video explanations of their problem solving. #WeAreRHMS


Today's baseball game (3/19/18) with Ebenezer has been rescheduled for Monday, March 29th at 4:30 at Ebenezer Middle School. #WeAreRHMS

What is the probability that Mrs. Broome's class is learning about theoretical and experimental probability? That answer is Certain - 100%! Mrs. Broome's class is using manipulatives in Probability Stations to test their theoretical probability of 6 different events: Flipping a Coin, Rolling a Number Cube, Pulling Colored Cubes from a Bag, Spinners, Pulling the Letters of Mississippi from a Bag, and Rolling a 20-sided Dice.


Students in Mrs. Letson’s 9th grade Physical Science are constructing roller coasters out of given materials in order to calculate the speed, potential energy, and kinetic energy of a marble along their created track!
